I find that American Film class so intimidating! I thought I had a decent reading, but it's harrowing to see Dr. Moore basically run circles around my presentation. Getting that good at "reading" films must take a LOT of practice. I want to read his paper on "Unforgiven", the one he was quoting from in class. He mentioned the bird motif, but I felt like he didn't really tell us where it ultimately went.

Anyway, digression aside: I wonder if we're allowed to use our blogs as a place to muse/write/complain about our papers-in-progress? I can't see how it could hurt, seeing as how it's all out in the public eye and plagiarism would be practically impossible.
