I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED SPLINTERED SOUL, DRAFT 1.

Clocking in at 4,500 words, a huge percentage of which is dialogue. Four-way argumentative dialogue. My brain bleeds.

It's extremely rough at the moment and will probably need extensive editing and/or an almost complete re-write. It also only exists in two halves at the moment - one of which is at home, the other of which is here at work, having just been written.

Apparently, deadlines are good for breaking writer's block. So is switching from third person to first person narrative.

It is difficult for me to express just how bleedin' happy I am at this very moment.

demonblade, you'd better have your challenge fic done, or I'll eat your face.
