So guess what story I'm finally making some significant progress on?
If you guessed "That One You've Been Bitching About Forever", also known as "Splintered Soul", then hooray! You win a prize: a pat on the back*.
I won't say that it's good. I will, say, however, that it exists, hopefully to eventually be crafted into something in the general realm of "sort of okay".
I still have a ways to go on it (and it's currently 2,500 words long. Um, yeah. For anyone keeping track, that's ten times as long as Wet Sand. Uh, whoops?) I'm guessing that it'll be somewhere in the realm of 4,000 words when I finish. And I've written myself to a place I'm looking forward to picking up with - definitely a bonus.
