Rediculous-yet-Achievable goals for tonight

Righto, so:

Current Wordcount: 33,173

Goals:
- Minimum: 3,000 words (36,000 total, give or take)
- Optimum: Shit, I'll take whatever I can get.


On another note, I think I'm going to hold off on posting the rest of the Boringville Saga for now, simply because the thought of having to face the past 9,000 words of plotless, witless schlock again in order to HTMLize it is putting me off from ever wanting to write anything ever ever again ever. Seriously, it's bad, folks. I'm getting to the point in the plot where I know roughly what's going on, but everything is sketchy, primarily the behaviour, appearance, motivations and general, um, everything about the aliens. This is going to need a lot of work. A lot.

I'll still post it in its general First Draft Glory, but I think I need to spend some time away from it for now, lest I lose my gumption to carry on with the rest of the schlock.

Speaking of which, I think I'll go write some more now. Um, yay?

Goal!

Wordcount: 36,005 (Yeah, this is what we call "cutting it close". I finished a chapter and had 200 words to go, so I poked around and padded - err, I mean, elaborated on some things from past chapters.)

Percentage of goal: 72%
Percentage of month passed: 83%

Catching up quickly!

I'll be in the clear as long as I write 3,000 words (give or take) every day until the end of the month. And I might get another chunk done tonight, since this is the start of my weekend - just to take the pressure off.
