So remember when I submitted a story to Glimmer Train Press the other month?

Got my "autonotify" rejection response today. I win!

I'm going to shop it around a bit now, pick some magazines that are looking for rambling chick-themed lit. And in the meantime, I'm going to write something better.

I know it seems weird, but I'm so jealous! You're actually at the point of submitting stuff! I can't wait to get a rejection letter myself. :)

This is my first one. I'm no longer a reject virgin. *le sigh* ;-)

I wish I was producing more stuff, though. I haven't *written* as much this summer as I'd have liked. When it boils down to it, I don't have a hell of a lot of writing under my belt. A lot of *talk* about writing.

Actually, I think that a suspicious amount of my lack of motivation is physical comfort thing - sitting at my laptop at home isn't exactly ergonomic at the moment. I just bought an external (wireless! squee!) mouse and keyboard, though, so I can work on writing and school stuff and not throw my back and neck all out of whack.
