Update: NaNoWriMo Warmup Challenge - 09/09

Was going to do some writing when I got home, but I'm beat. Setting my alarm so that I'll have pleanty of writing time this evening.

Goal: 25,000
Words Written: 1,174
Percentage of goal: 4.6%
Percentage of month past: 30%

If the rest of the story narrative keeps unravelling at this pace, I should have no trouble at all reaching 25,000 words. The only catch is to keep it within the month, and to do it faster than chibiakki, who has a lot more momentum going than I seem to be able to muster. *laughs*

And now, to bed. Perchance to dream.

Fear not. I'm still behind in terms of the month's percentage versus my word count. The only thing I really have going is my fast fingers combined with the fact that calls have been reasonably slow of late, so I have the time and the ability to get all my writing done at work.

I hope calls stay this way through NaNo month, though. I might actually be able to complete the damn project this year, if that's the case! XD

I just have the attention span of a baby otter. I forget to work on it through the night, and then suddenly at 7AM (coincidentally, when it starts to get busy again) I start writing. *laughs* I'm hoping to start writing right now before work, and then go to work with the writing mojo intact tonight.

Speaking of NaNo? I'm doing the ML thing again this year, only I hope to drudge up some attention from local media... I'm gonna get in touch with "Here" magazine and see if they'll run an article on it sometime in October. In which case it's quite likely that, should they need to interview people, you shall thusly be interviewed. Muaha. (And I have NaNo stuff to give out to people who participated last year... Since I didn't give it out then. X-D)
