Given that I'm sick and off work today, I'm actually going to see if I can sit down in front of this damn machine and get some more words going. Probably be able to make it to 8000 words at least, which shouldn't be too bad. But, as always, we'll see how far I get. I've been neglecting my NaNowarmUp of late. :/

Date: 2004-09-11 11:25 am (UTC)Bleh, being a sickie is no fun. Get better pronto, y'hear? And good luck with the writing. I forget - what story are you writing instead of the Boylove one?
I was going to try to keep going today, but I decided to give myself a break so I could come at it with a fresh perspective for the next section. (This part decided to be something of a chapter break - though I'm not going to bother with actual *chapters* since it'll only be 25,000 or so words long.)

Date: 2004-09-11 12:30 pm (UTC)I have discovered that I suck at writing battle scenes. :/
Yeah, I don't think I'm bothering with actual chapters either. I could, given that this is going to be only one part of a fairly larhe story, but meh, why bother? I can just rewrite it later and put it into chapter form if I ever go anywhere else with it, right? :P
Good luck on the writing, whenever you next do it. And with that in mind, I'm going to get back to my own writing. It's kinda nice to sit here, music in the background, doing a good amount of work on a story I'm enjoying writing about.
