Oop, almost forgot to do the prompt today. Remembered before I went to bed... then WENT to bed, turned off the light, and remembered again. So I got up because it would bug me not to do it. And at a max of 10 minutes, it's not exactly going to ruin my sleep (any more than I've done already, by staying up too late.)
DAY ELEVEN PROMPT:
A peaceful bouncer wants to enact a secret plan revolving around a deceptive plant, but it will mean confessing to an old sin.
This is the kind of wackiness that can happen if you "lock" the cards in place before flipping them over. I did re-pull one of the aspect cards because it came up "blighted" and I'd used that really recently. But I like that the bouncer is peaceful and the plant is deceptive. I'm imagining a kind of Ocean's 11 deal (I've actually never seen that movie but still. Heist hijynx, right?). You could read "deceptive plant" as a fake plant... or a "plant" as in a planted person, or a shill. I'm getting... a bouncer who got stuck in the life because they did something they regret, and someone who knows has power over them. Maybe they can become a part of this plan to pull off a heist, and they realize that outing themselves would not only free them from the obligation to this person, but if it's done in the right way it could be a big distraction. For a cut of the take, it might be worth it. Maybe the "plant" is actually someone from their past; someone they hoped at one time to build a future with, but because of The Incident the bouncer broke it off, not wanting to hold them back. Now they're masterminding this heist, and the bouncer might have a shot at more than just a way out...
That went much better than I expected when I started. Neat. Now: BED.
