Dear World,

I am currently sitting at just over 6,000 words for my NaNovel.

I hereby pledge that I will have no less than 10,000 words by the end of the night.

Should I reach 15,000 before the night is over, I will reward myself by eating not only the Hershey's Kiss that is sitting on my monitor, but also the one that is sitting in my cupboard at home. (Yeah, I'm not holding my breath on this one.)

Time to get a coffee, reluctantly end my conversations with amazing women, and write, write, write.
