That's right - I just wrote 7,000 words in one sitting. The funny thing is that I could easily keep going, but I need to do those silly things like "eat" and "go arrange songs for a gig next weekend" and "work". The good news (what, 7,000 words in one sitting wasn't good enough?!) is that my story has officially stepped up into high gear. Now it's just a matter of going through the motions, taking my characters through the rest of the plot, and praying to whatever deity will listen that I don't hit the end before 50,000 rolls around.
Chapters Four, Five and Six should be coming this evening. And myabe chapter seven, if I don't keel over first.

Of course, I don't care what it takes, I'm gluing my ass to this chair and making it to 25000 words by tomorrow, come hell or high water. Even if that means I have to pull another day of writing 7000 words, I will damn well do it!
